We are located in the midst of the Yorkshire Dales, right on the River Nidd. Surrounded by nature so beautiful it has been named "outstanding".

Family-friendly

Right next to the site you'll find a large park and playing field ready for football matches, kite-flying, or just stretching out in the sun. Thrill-seekers can conquer the rope-rocket climbing frame and fly down the zipline, while classic favourites like the swings, slide, and roundabout offer endless fun for everyone, there's even a toddler-friendly climbing frame perfect for the smaller family members.

The local ice cream van situated there is a regular fixture, serving up scoops of locally-sources ice cream straight from Yorkshire Dales creamery.
Other family-favourites nearby include Hesketh Farm Park, Stumpcross Caverns and The Forbidden Corner - to name just a few!

Wild Swimming
Pateley Bridge is a popular spot amongst wild swimmers. The dark, amber colour you see is natural peat from the hills, meaning the water is incredibly clean and soft. (Just a quick heads-up - swimming is at your own risk, so please keep an eye on the little ones and stay safe if choosing to enjoy the water).

We are centrally located, just a few minutes' walk from the historic high street. Here you'll find many charming businesses; local butchers, bakeries, cafes, boutiques, restaurants, pubs, the oldest sweet shop in the world, and more.

Walking and cycling

We're also perfectly situated for easy access to endless trail systems, which will lead you through some of the most stunning scenery in the world.

Just beyond Pateley Bridge you'll find the backdrops of several scenes from popular television programmes and films such as; All Creatures Great and Small (Grassington), Emmerdale (Harewood), Harry Potter (Malham), Wuthering Heights (Riddlesden), and Our Yorkshire Shop: A Victorian Restoration (Masham), to name just a few.

Within a short distance of the site you will find landmarks including Coldstones Cut, Fountains Abbey, Brimham Rocks, Howstean Gorge, Druid's Temple, multiple waterfalls, gardens, castles, and much more.
